Brazil’s Denise Gomes added another highlight to her growing reel with a thunderous knockout over Elise Reed at UFC Vegas 106.
The 25-year-old Gomes ended the fight just 30 seconds into the second round, starting with a massive right hand that dropped Reed twice. Referee Jason Herzog gave Reed chances to recover, but Gomes’ relentless assault proved too much.
