British star Michael “Venom” Page proved once again that he is one of the most skilled fighters in the sport after delivering an outstanding performance against Russian Shara Magomedov in the co-main event of UFC Saudi Arabia, earning a unanimous decision victory (30-27, 29-28, 30-27).
Stepping up to the middleweight division (84 kg) for the first time, Page entered the fight with confidence and quickly imposed his usual rhythm of speed, evasiveness, and precise striking. From the first round, Magomedov struggled to deal with Page’s unorthodox movements, while “Venom” landed clean, effective shots, securing a clear advantage.
In the second round, Page continued his dominance, reading Magomedov’s movements intelligently, allowing him to avoid attacks and counter with precision. His hooks became sharper, and he dictated the fight’s pace, while the Dagestani fighter seemed unable to find any effective offensive solutions.
By the third round, Michael Page had complete control of the fight. He continued to land damaging strikes and displayed excellent distance control before surprising his opponent with a flying knee that nearly ended the fight by knockout. As the round concluded, Magomedov attempted a final offensive push, but Page maintained control on the ground until the final bell.
