Jake Paul was at the top of his game last night, securing his tenth professional boxing victory against a major name in combat sports. In an exciting bout, Paul knocked out Mike Perry with a technical knockout in the sixth round, after Perry had already been floored twice by Paul’s powerful strikes. However, Perry’s poor performance led Conor McGregor, who had been a former supporter of Perry, to take a harsh stance, announcing on “X” that Perry would be removed from BKFC.
Jake Paul responded sharply to McGregor’s actions. During the post-fight press conference, Paul criticized McGregor’s behavior, saying:
“It’s ridiculous that he’s firing his BKFC champion, but I knew this would happen. As I told you, McGregor was promoting Mike Perry, and I said, ‘Okay Conor, once you deceive Mike Perry, you’ll be next.’
Conor is always on Twitter and on his yacht, but where is he in reality? In the ring, where I fight. He can talk all he wants, but mixed martial arts is nothing but empty words to him, and he’s afraid to face Jake Joseph Paul.”
