Francis Ngannou has given his take on the upcoming undisputed heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
The heavyweights finally collide on February 17th in Saudi Arabia to determine the division’s number one boxer and champion.
One man with an interest in the fight is Francis Ngannou who is still seeking a money-spinning rematch with ‘The Gypsy King’ following his controversial defeat to the Brit in October of last year.
Francis Ngannou will fight Anthony Joshua on March 8 for his second professional boxing fight. Before that, one of the most anticipated fights in heavyweight boxing will take place in mid-February. This is the clash between Tyson Fury and Aleksandr Usyk. The ‘Gipsy King’ is coming off a split decision win over Ngannou after suffering a historic knockdown. Usyk 21-0, for his part, is on a perfect series of four victories at heavyweight, against Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua (x2) and the latest against Daniel Dubois by KO in the 9th round.
