Dana White announces Justin Gaethje vs. Holloway BMF Title Fight UFC 300

UFC CEO Dana White has announced two big fights for the upcoming UFC 300 event, including an exciting BMF lightweight title fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway.

Jim Miller’s wish to fight in the main event of the pay-per-view was also granted, as the great Bobby Green was chosen to face him, as White also announced Tuesday night via the networks social.

UFC 300 takes place on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Last week, White announced a women’s strawweight bout between Zhang Weili and Yan Xiaonan, adding the first piece of gold available on the ESPN+ pay-per-view card.

Gaethje will make the first defense of the belt that was revived by the UFC last year, in his match with Dustin Poirier at UFC 291.

Amazingly, Gaethje managed to knock out Poirier with a head kick and win the belt, originally designed for the UFC 244 main event match between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal.

Gaethje was expected to be the first to win the real belt against lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

Instead, he will face Holloway, whose path to regaining the featherweight title was complicated by three straight losses to bantamweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
