Nate Diaz explains why he doesn’t trash-talk with Jake Paul

Paul has blasted Diaz for not revving up interest in their boxing match. “The Problem Child” has gone as far as to say it’s a “b*tch move” since he was vocal prior to the fight being announced.

Jake Paul blamed Nate Diaz for not selling their upcoming fight enough. The former UFC star was quick to respond in a recent interview.

MMA fans are used to Nate Diaz pumping up the heat before his fights. On August 5, the Stockton native will take on YouTuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul. The two men will compete in English boxing in a fight scheduled for 8 rounds at 185 pounds (83.9 kg). However, Nate Diaz does not attack ‘The Problem Child’, he who is nevertheless a follower of trash-talking.

“I don’t need to act like that… I don’t talk sh*t like he does. (…) Let’s just stay away from each other until the fight. I’m ready to go to war and I’m ready to be cool until it’s time to fight. I do not care. I’m at a stage in my career where I’m not trying to scare anyone, I’m not trying to fool anyone. »

“If people want to watch, that would be great. If they don’t, that’s fine too,” Diaz continued. “That’s where he twisted me. I’m not into this gimmick fight with him. I just need him to know that I’m going to break his ass, I don’t need the whole world. »

Before this first fight in boxing, Nate Diaz submitted Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. Soon, the king of Stockton will be able to settle his accounts in the boxing ring with 10 ounce gloves. The fight between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
