Cédric Doumbé is forfeited for his fight on June 23 at the PFL!

A promising former kickboxer who was set to make his debut for the Professional Fighters League (PFL) had to pull out of his fight.

Cedric Doumbe was scheduled to face Jarrah Al Silawi on June 23 in the PFL welterweight tournament. Nevertheless, the Frenchman is forfeited, and should be in the main event of the first PFL Paris at the Zénith on September 30.

A few weeks ago, Cédric Doumbé signed with the American MMA organization, the PFL. For his promotion debut, ‘Doumced’ was set to face a big client at welterweight, Jarrah Al Silawi. As a result, the French would have joined the regular season of the PFL, with the key 1 million dollars! However, the former Glory champion is out of the fight, which was scheduled to take place on June 23.

Cédric Doumbé gave some explanations on his social networks, and announced that good news was coming:

The PFL will settle for the first time in France on September 30th. Indeed, the American promotion will be present at the Zénith for the PFL Paris. Thus, Cédric Doumbé could be headlining the event. Fans will have to wait a while longer before seeing ‘The Best’ in the cage again. The latter has not fought since March 5, when he won by TKO against Pawel Klimas.
