Chatting with netizens on X, Conor McGregor revealed what goal he would like to achieve before the end of his MMA career.

While waiting for his return to the octagon to be made official, Conor McGregor chats with his fans on X (formerly Twitter). The Irishman gave Internet users the opportunity to ask him questions with the hashtag #asknotorious. Obviously, McGregor mentioned his return to the UFC or his most likely next opponent, Michael Chandler. The Dubliner even revealed one of the records he planned to break before retiring…

“This is an incredible feat! »

When the ‘Notorious’ was asked how many more knockouts he could inflict, the latter replied at least four more. This would allow him to match the number of knockout victories that the legendary Anderson Silva achieved during his career.

“My next fight will mark my 20th knockout in professional MMA, so I’m really looking forward to it! 20 KOs in MMA is an incredible feat! Anderson has 23 in total, so it’s a great goal for me! »

Anderson Silva is none other than the former UFC middleweight champion. He is considered one of the best fighters of all time. On ten occasions, the Brazilian defended his title, beating the best in his division. In total, he has 34 victories, 11 defeats and 1 no contest. ‘The Spider’ notably wrote his legend thanks to his striking and his spectacular knockouts. Obviously, such an athlete inspired a whole generation of fighters, of which Conor McGregor is one.
