ADCC 2024 is fast approaching and now the promotion has been able to officially confirm both the location and venue for the next edition of the world’s most prestigious no gi grappling tournament. The event will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada just like ADCC 2022 was, marking the first time that the event has visited the same city twice. It’s not surprising though, seeing as Las Vegas is a location that not only has plenty of large venues for the event to be held but it also attracts people from all around the world on a regular basis already.
This will also mark the fourth time that the ADCC world championship has been held in the US, but this edition promises to be significantly bigger and even more impressive than ever before. The Thomas & Mack Center was used in 2022 and it allowed for the biggest crowd in ADCC history, with around 12,000 people in attendance. This time around the event will take place in the T-Mobile Arena, an even bigger arena with a capacity of 18,000 instead. ADCC head organizer Mo Jassim even recently shared a walkthrough of the venue and the scale of it is truly incredible compared to what professional grappling events have seen in the past.
The location remains the same but there are several other aspects that will be different at ADCC 2024 alongside the venue itself. Mo Jassim is functioning as the head organizer for the third consecutive time and he’s building on the success of the last two events in a big way. Not only will there be more fans in attendance than ever before, but there will also be competitors taking to the mats too. ADCC recently announced a change to the women’s divisions that have allowed for three weight classes to be contested, vastly increasing the opportunities available for female competitors. There might be over a year left, but already there is plenty to look forward to at ADCC 2024.
