MMA – Frenchman Benoît Saint-Denis will face a most formidable opponent on July 1, 2023.
Benoît Saint-Denis is one of the heroes of UFC Paris. Indeed, on September 3, 2022, the Frenchman defeated Brazilian Gabriel Miranda by TKO in the second round. Nonetheless, God of War hasn’t appeared in the Octagon since. Recently, after months of absence, Benoît Saint-Denis revealed that he wanted to return to the cage, but Nurullo Aliev, the opponent he was supposed to face, did not accept the fight. If he does not fight Aliev on July 1, 2023, the native of Nîmes will nevertheless participate in UFC on ESPN 48. In addition, Damon Martin, editor for MMA Fighting, has just revealed on Twitter the name of the next opponent of the God of War. Indeed, the latter says: “Vinc Pichel vs Benoit Saint Denis for the next UFC card on July 1, according to several sources”.

Alumnus of the TUF:
On July 1, 2023, Benoît Saint-Denis will face a UFC veteran: Vinc Pichel. Passed by the TUF, the American has faced big names during his career. Indeed, From Hell has competed against Al Iaquinta, Gregor Gillespie or even Jim Miller. According to Sherdog’s ranking of the best lightweights, the American is ranked 44th, Benoît Saint-Denis is 76th. A victory against a veteran would allow the God of War to approach the top 15 in its category.
