A true muay-thai legend with multiple titles, Youssef Boughanem announced a few years ago that he wanted to transition to MMA.
After a long preparation, he finally made his debut in January 2024 at Fight And Furious in Octagon.
Despite a victory in the second round by knockout, the fight was difficult for the Belgian-Moroccan. He more recently fought in kickboxing at Glory Paris against the formidable Stanislav Kazantsev. He won by TKO in the second round.
This Monday, we nevertheless learn that Youssef Boughanem will return to MMA. The rumors that have existed for months have come to fruition. The muay-thai legend has signed up for Brave CF! He will also fight there soon.
Debuts very soon!
Youssef Boughanem will make his debut very soon! Indeed, he will face Anando Amoksi on May 25 in the Netherlands. This fight will take place at Brave 83 in association with Dutch organization Enfusion’s ECE MMA. His opponent has a score of 1-0-1, he remains in a tie. The two future opponents are therefore one victory each before facing each other.
Brave is an organization we know, because a group of Arab and Moroccan fighters were successful there between 2017 and 2019. I hope Youssef Boughanem experiences the same success there!
