Watch Mark Zuckerberg Training BJJ With Mikey Musumeci

When it comes to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, there aren’t many people on the planet that are better than Mikey Musumeci.

I Feel Like This Violated Community Standards”: Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg Subject to Extreme Trolling as BJJ Phenom and “Friend” Mikey Musumeci Shares Training Update - EssentiallySports

The ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion is one of the very best competitors in the world with a long list of accolades to prove it.

Mark Zuckerberg has become increasingly involved in the world of Brazilian jiu-jitsu BJJ over the past few years, and now he’s started training alongside Mikey Musumeci as well.

He did, in fact, reveal that he found a love for both BJJ, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and mixed martial arts MMA after he began training in the sport during the pandemic, on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience last year. Since then, Zuckerberg has clearly taken things more seriously, having already gone from just training in BJJ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to participating in a local tournament for the first time earlier this year.

Mark Zuckerberg has been training BJJ under Dave Camarillo in the past, and this recent training session with Mikey Musumeci shows clearly eager to get in the highest level of training possible. While this is far from the first time that a celebrity has gotten involved in BJJ, Zuckerberg is definitely the richest and most powerful man to decide to compete in the sport. He’s one of the top ten richest men on the planet, and there’s no news as yet on whether Elon Musk or Bill Gates plan on making their BJJ debut any time soon.

Musumeci on the other hand is among the best competitors on the planet, and he’s repeatedly turned in some fantastic performances in the ONE Championship cage. He’s the promotion’s reigning flyweight submission grappling world champion, a title he’s already defended on two occasions despite only winning it at the beginning of the year. Musumeci has won multiple IBJJF world championship gold medals long before that, and has cemented himself firmly at the top of the sport in the lighter weight classes. In fact the only thing missing from Musumeci’s trophy cabinet at the moment is an ADCC gold medal, and he’s won everything there is to win.
