Elias Mahmoudi captured a stunning knockout win against Japanese counterpart Taiki Naito at ONE Championship event ONE Fight Night 24 in the morning hours of Saturday, August 3.
Mahmoudi put in a dominant attacking performance in the Flyweight Kickboxing contest using a wide range of strikes before knocking out the third-ranked opponent at 2:56 of the third round.
The win is the 26-year-old Algerian’s second knockout win in a row and boosts his chances to challenge Rodtang Jitmuangon or Superlek Kiatmoo for the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai or Kickboxing world title.
Mahmoudi was also handed a 50,000 dollar performance bonus by ONE CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong.
