Usman Nurmagomedov defended his belt against Brent Primus in the best way possible at Bellator 300.
The Russian, 25, was the better striker and grappler throughout on his way to a unanimous decision win.

He will face either Patricky ‘Pitbull’ Freire or Alexander Shaily, who fight at Bellator 301 on 17 November.
He is impossible to beat ! Usman Nurmagomedov is still Bellator lightweight champion and keeps his unbeaten record intact. He defended his title against Brent Primus, the winner of Mansour Barnaoui during Bellator Paris. The least we can say is that the cousin of the legend Khabib had fun throughout the 5 rounds.

Usman Nurmagomedov is unbeatable
Usman Nurmagomedov had a good evening at work. It’s quite simple, the Dagestani played with Brent Primus. The latter tried everything but the Striking of a young man of 25 years old was also and what can we say about wrestling, when that is Primus’ specialty.

There were a few phases in which the challenger tried to close the distance, but nothing seemed to affect the champion this evening. He was untouchable as if he was in the zone. So, without any difficulty, Usman wins this fight by unanimous decision and advances in the 1 million lightweight tournament and only has to wait for his next victim in the final of the tournament before a potential redemption by the PFL. It will be either Alexandr Shabliy or Patricky Pitbull.
