Undefeated MMA star Sanzhar Zakirov is set to face hisfourth opponent in ONE Championship when he takes on Tatsumitsu Wada at ONE FightNight 27: Tang vs Abdullaev.
Zakirov and Wada will face each other in a featherweight MMAclash at ONE Championship’s first show in 2025, which kicks off at 4:00 AM Mecca on Saturday, January 11.
Zakirov has won all three bouts in the martial arts organization’s weekly fight series ONE Friday Fights since making his debut in August 2023.
After picking up the three victories, the 21-year-old Uzbek star raised his overall professional record to a clean 12-0.
On the other hand, Wada has won his last two fights, mostrecently defeating China’s Xie Wei via unanimous decision at ONE Fight Night23: Ok vs Rasulov in July.
The 36-year-old Japanese star hopes to improve his 26-11overall record and become the first man to defeat the rising Uzbek star.
ONE Fight Night 27 will be headlined by a Featherweight MMAworld championship bout between titleholder Tang Kai and undefeated Kyrgyzstanichallenger Akbar Abdullaev.
