Joaquin Buckley Shines in the Welterweight Division
This Saturday, Buckley, who previously faced Nasourdine Imavov, continued his winning streak, further solidifying his reputation in the UFC.
After a dominant performance against Stephen Thompson, Buckley made his mark again by defeating the former title challenger Colby Covington at UFC Tampa. Covington appeared to be in serious trouble in the first round, but Buckley controlled the pace in the second round.
In the third round, the doctor called for a stoppage after Covington suffered significant damage, unable to see out of his right eye due to the brutal blood loss.

Is Kamaru Usman Next?
After the fight, Joaquin Buckley named three potential future opponents for the audience to vote on: Belal Muhammad, Leon Edwards, and Kamaru Usman. The Florida crowd overwhelmingly chose Kamaru Usman.
Usman, who had analyzed the fight between Buckley and Covington beforehand, expressed his concerns about the chaos that could unfold. Buckley, having already defeated Stephen Thompson and Colby Covington, now sets his sights on the former welterweight champion, Usman. It seems the new face of the welterweight division is ready to push aside the old guard.
