Tye Ruotolo Defeats Dante Leon, Retains Submission Grappling Belt at ONE Fight Night 31

American star Tye Ruotolo settled the score with longtime rival Dante Leon with a deserved unanimous decision victory at ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 31.

Ruotolo started things off with a double-leg takedown to secure top position. From there, he controlled the pace throughout the matchup.

The 22-year-old American spent the bout trying to lock in submission moves, forcing his Canadian foe to defend for almost the entire ten minutes.

After another dazzling performance, Ruotolo got the nod from all three judges to retain his ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling world title and raise his perfect record in ONE to 8-0.

With each of the two men beating the other once outside ONE, Ruotolo has now taken a 2-1 advantage.
