Two Moroccans to Fight at ONE Fight Night 30 This Week

Moroccan duo Mouhcine Chafi and Elmehdi El Jamari are scheduled to compete at ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 30: Kryklia vs Knowles in the morning hours of Saturday.

Chafi is keen to capture his first ONE Championship win and bounce back from two straight promotional defeats when he takes on England’s George Jarvis in a lightweight Muay Thai bout.

The 27-year-old Moroccan, who is a former WBC Light Heavyweight Muay Thai champion and owns a 31-7 overall record, knows he must perform at his best to beat the in-form Jarvis, who is on a three-win-streak and has most recently knocked out Thai star Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong.

Meanwhile, ONE athlete Zakaria El Jamari’s younger brother Elmehdi El Jamari will make his debut against Thailand’s Thongpoon.

Elmehdi El Jamari, who has captured titles at the national, regional, and international levels, will hope to open his ONE account by emulating his brother who picked up a stunning unanimous decision win against Thongpoon last year.
