Young Moroccan Muay Thai star Toufiq Chabibi is set to make his debut at ONE Championship event ONE Friday Fights 89 on Friday, November 29.
In a flyweight Muay Thai battle of young fighters with huge potential, Chabibi will face Russian counterpart Rustam Yunusov this Friday.
The 18-year-old Moroccan last defeated Italy’s Paolo Dantoni in Lumpinee World Championship Super Champ last month, taking his overall professional record to 6-1.
However, the Moroccan faces a tough task on his debut against the 17-year-old Russian who owns a clean 11-0 overall professional record.
Since making his ONE Friday Fights debut, Yunusov picked up two wins via unanimous decision against Japan’s Ramu Araya and Australia’s Blair Geraghty.
ONE Friday Fights 89 kicks off at 3:30 PM Mecca on Friday, November 29 and will be broadcast via beIN SPORTS.
