Francis Ngannou received another top support for his fight against Tyson Fury: Stipe Miocic.
While Francis Ngannou had already received the support of one of his former opponents, in this case Ciryl Gane, for his fight against Tyson Fury, he also received that of Stipe Miocic.
The two men, who each have one victory over the other in MMA, know each other well, with Stipe Miocic even declaring at the end of September that he wanted a trilogy fight against Francis Ngannou. Even though he knows it will be tough with the signing of Ngannou to the PFL, Miocic is hopeful.
In the meantime, he fervently supports the ‘Predator’ against Tyson Fury for their boxing fight which will take place on October 28. Here’s what he said (via MMANews):
“This fight is so much the better for him. I wish him nothing but the best, man. Bigger and better things. I hope he is well. Tyson is one of the best boxers of all time. But it’s a fight, Francis hits hard and he moves well. I just hope it shocks the world.”
“I think Francis will find a way to do it. It’s a fight. Not so much technical, he just makes it a fight. I think everything will be fine… Anyone can win. It’s a fight, anything can happen. »
For his part, Stipe Miocic will fight Jon Jones in a clash that could well mark MMA history. Yesterday, Miocic added another layer by saying that he planned to show the true power of a heavyweight to Jon Jones during UFC 295. What would scare Jones? Not sure…
