UFC star Sean O’Malley’s jacket caused quite a stir at UFC 288 on April 6. He reacts with humor.
During Aljamain Sterling’s celebration, Sean O’Malley came to provoke the bantamweight champion. Although the scene is of rare intensity, MMA fans have especially remembered the behavior of Merab Dvalishvili. The latter allowed himself a small divergence.

Reacting to Merab Dvalishvili’s actions, O’Malley tweeted that he mistook “The Machine” for a coat rack and therefore handed him his jacket.

The incident happened when after successfully defending his title against Henry Cejudo, Aljamain Sterling asked O’Malley to show up. As a result, “Suga” was brought into the octagon for a one-on-one. Things escalated and the two men got into a verbal altercation and exchanged insults. Meanwhile, O’Malley had taken off his jacket, which Merab grabbed and immediately tried to put on.
As security separated ‘Funk Master’ and O’Malley, ‘Suga’ noticed Dvalishvili wearing his jacket, which sparked a heated altercation. Dvalishvili’s actions got laughs from many UFC fighters who took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the incident. For now, of course, the fight is not formalized, but we are already talking about a date. That would be UFC 292 in Abu Boston in August.
