Boxer Ryan Garcia spoke about a potential fight against a UFC champion. He even claims he can destroy him in MMA!
The boxer has branded himself a “natural wrestler”. Implying that not only would he defeat O’Malley but he’d dominate him in a fight. He also didn’t want the fight to be unfair for similar reasons: “I’ll beat his ass in MMA. Guaranteed. I’m a natural wrestler.”
When the noble art and MMA meet, it is generally in the ring that the stories are resolved. This was particularly the case for Conor McGregor against Floyd Mayweather, Nate Diaz against Jake Paul or even Francis Ngannou against Tyson Fury. The latter will even do it again soon by facing Anthony Joshua, still in English boxing. But this time the situation could change! This is what Ryan Garcia tells us. Sean O’Malley isn’t exactly known for his wrestling, and Ryan Garcia will definitely have the standing advantage. But it would still be completely crazy to see a boxer enter the cage. Ryan Garcia seems determined to get this fight in the UFC. He would have even already contacted Dana White:
