Rose Namajunas ended a run of consecutive defeats to overcome the Brazilian Amanda Ribas in their UFC flyweight contest.
Namajunas had to withstand several takedowns from Ribas, and landed some devastating blows of her own to seal a hard-fought victory.
Namajunas is now looking to make her way up the flyweight rankings, and is eyeing up fights with Manon Fiorot, Erin Blanchfield and Maycee Barber.
Her dominance continued in round three with a huge leg kick, followed by making a big impact to the body. However, Ribas ended on top with a superb takedown just before the bell.
Ribas continued that momentum into the start of round four with some brilliant combinations, before Namajunas stemmed the tide with a fine takedown.
Namajunas ended this attritional contest on top with a fine knee and leg kick to seal a hard-fought win.
