Ramadan Ondash Ready for Pivotal Fight this Friday, Identifies Chartpayak’s Main Weaknesses

Rising Lebanese star Ramadan Ondash is aiming to improve his ONE Friday Fights record to 4-0 this Friday when he clashes with Thailand’s Chartpayak in an exciting strawweight Muay Thai fight.

Ondash and Chartpayak will enter the fight at ONE Friday Fights 114 with the undefeated records of 3-0 and 7-0 respectively and are both inching closer towards earning a contract to join ONE Championship’s roster.

Ahead of perhaps the biggest fight of his young career, Ondash has spoken of his respect for his opponent who boasts 68 professional career wins and five knockouts in seven fights at ONE’s weekly fight series.

“My opponent, Chartpayak, owns seven wins out of seven, and five wins via knockout. So, his results have been impressive. He faced good fighters who haven’t been able to stand tall against him. He has very good punches and kicks. He is strong and well known in Thailand,” Ondash said.

The 18-year-old Lebanese fighter has produced solid performances at ONE Friday Fights, opening his account with an incredible first-round knockout victory over Yangdam before picking up two unanimous decision wins over Pichitchai and Kongchai.

Ahead of his fourth fight, Ondash has been training hard and watching his next opponent’s previous fights to identify gaps in his game.

Although he remains tight-lipped about his own game plan for the pivotal bout, Ondash is confident he will leave Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium with a big win.

“Every fighter has weaknesses. Honestly, I don’t want to speak about that. I would like to show his weak points inside the ring, and I can speak about that after the fight,” Ondash said.

“He is yet to face Ramadan Ondash. Next Friday, you will see what I mean,” he added.

ONE Friday Fights 114 kicks off on Friday, June 27 at 3:30 p.m. Mecca and will be broadcast live via beIN SPORTS 1 in the MENA region.
