Two-sport world champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai is set to defend his ONE Strawweight Muay Thai world title against Ellis Badr Barboza at ONE Fight Night 28.
Prajanchai and Barboza will meet inside Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium in the morning hours of February 8.
Prajanchai captured the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing world championships with wins against Joseph Lasiri and Jonathan Di Bella in December 2023 and June 2024, respectively.
The 30-year-old Thai star, who owns an incredible 343-52 overall record, enters the next fight with big confidence riding a five-win-streak.
On the other hand, Barboza joined ONE Championship in 2023 after four straight wins. His debut win in December 2023 against Thongpoon PK Saenchai was ruled a no-contest after he failed a drug test.
After serving a ban, Barboza returned to action in July 2024 and scored a convincing win against Aliff Sor Dechapan via unanimous decision.
The 24-year-old British star, who owns a 17-5 overall professional record, is a former WBC European Muay Thai Champion.
ONE Fight Night 28 kicks off at 4:00 AM Mecca on Saturday, February 8.
