For her second fight in the UFC, Nora Cornolle faced the Englishwoman Mullins in a catchweight fight. And the Frenchwoman had a blast.
The French Nora Cornolle opened the ball at UFC Vegas 90, facing Melissa Mullins. The two fighters having missed the weigh-in, the fight was therefore at catchweight (with an agreement around 63 kg). For her first in the premier organization, Cornolle had snatched a decision victory at UFC Paris 2. She therefore hoped to continue in this vein.
In this fight, the Frenchwoman was opposed to the number 15 in the bantamweight category for women. Nora Cornolle stood out with a magnificent sequence in the second round.
With a knee to the body coming out of the clinch, she initially takes the breath away from Melissa Mullins. Folded in two, the Englishwoman appears vulnerable and Cornolle takes advantage of this to deliver powerful head kicks that hit the mark.
