Algeria’s Nahyan Mohammed lost to Adam Sor Dechapan in a catchweight Muay Thai contest at ONE Championship show ONE Friday Fights 107.
Adam, who is the younger brother of Aliff Sor Dechapan, controlled the first round, using spinning elbows, flying knees, and effective boxing combinations.
Mohammed made a comeback in the second round, backing his opponent onto the ropes and striking effective combinations. In the third round, Adam countered Mohammed’s big combinations and countered with damaging body shots, uppercuts, and straights to earn the split-decision win
With this win, Adam improved his overall professional record to 51-4 while Mohammed, who had scored a knockout victory on his debut, saw his overall professional record drop to 31-9.
