Morocco’s Youssef Assouik has revealed his ambitions at the global martial arts organization ONE Championship.
The 29-year-old Moroccan athlete faces former world title challenger Sinsamut Klinmee in a Lightweight Muay Thai contest at ONE Fight Night 25 which kicks off at 3:00 AM Mecca this Saturday, October 25.
Assouik is no stranger to world titles and big opponents as he is the current WMC Middleweight Muay Thai champion, former ISKA and IFMA world champion.
“I have watched some of his fights. He is a strong guy. I think I will handle him well because I’m tough and look forward to being part of this organization. I want to face him and face other big names here. They can’t hide,” Assouik said.
Sinsamut, he stands in my way. I have to win this fight to get a big title shot in the future. I want to be the champion in ONE,” he added.
