Mike Tyson is expected to make his return to the boxing ring in 2024. The American will face a true MMA legend.
Mike Tyson is a legend of English boxing. ‘Kid Dynamite’ is considered by many to be one of the greatest heavyweights in the history of the noble art. The American became the youngest heavyweight champion in the sport, at just 20 years old, after knocking out his first 19 opponents. A record that still stands. He also became the first heavyweight to unify the WBA, WBC and IBF belts. In total, he has 50 victories including 44 by knockout and 6 defeats. For a long time it was not Francis Ngannou, but him “The Baddest Man on the Planet”.
Mike Tyson hung up his gloves in 2005 after a defeat against Kevin McBride. In 2011, he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Later, in 2020, Mike Tyson returned to the ring for an exhibition fight against another legend of the noble art, Roy Jones Jr. A fight which ended in a draw (see the highlights here).
