Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson shared his opinion about the abilities of his ward, the former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannouas well as about his chances in the fight against Tyson Fury.
While a new trailer for the fight between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury, which will take place on October 28, appeared this weekend, Mike Tyson gave his opinion on the possibility of victory for his current foal, Francis Ngannou.
In this fight, the ‘Predator’ is not the favorite, and yet many people believe that the improbable could happen, despite Fury’s exceptional experience in the noble art. He actually has so much experience that he thinks this fight will be a walk in the park for him, as proof, he accepted a fight against Usyk barely two months after that of Ngannou, attracting the lightning of commentator Ariel Helwani, among others.
And Mike Tyson, who trains Francis, thinks the former UFC heavyweight champion has more than enough to win this fight (via the Daily Mail):
“I am helping Ngannou. I’m learning what he can do. He is capable of doing much more than I anticipated. He has what it takes to knock out anything in his path. Once he punches Tyson Fury in the jaw, he will knock him out too. No one can survive this.”
“Fury is not the greatest of all time, but he is one of the greatest of all time. He is very high up. He can do great things right now. He’s always going to bring a good night of boxing, fight hard. You have to try to hit him with a blow to knock him out because he always gets back up and fights hard.”
If some have made fun of Tyson Fury’s current physique, there is no doubt that on the big day, he will be in great shape and Francis will have to surpass himself to defeat the current boxing champion.
