Leon Edwards is set to return to the octagon on Saturday night in the main event of UFC London, where he will face American fighter Sean Brady. After losing his welterweight title at UFC 304 to Belal Muhammad in July 2024, the former champion is determined to get back on track and reclaim his glory in front of his home crowd in London.
Despite some health concerns affecting his preparation, Edwards has assured that he is now in good shape and ready for the fight. On the other hand, Sean Brady comes in with an impressive record, having lost only once in 18 professional fights, and that was to Belal Muhammad. However, this doesn’t intimidate Edwards, who believes that the size and strength difference will work in his favor:
“I didn’t realize he was so small. I was walking toward him, but he turned his back on me. I looked and thought, ‘Where the hell did Sean go?’ Then he turned around, and I was like, ‘What the hell?’ I think he’s about 5’9”, or maybe even 5’1”! I feel that the size, reach, and power difference will play a big role in the fight.

Sean Brady relies mainly on his wrestling and jiu-jitsu skills, aiming to take the fight to the ground where he excels. The British fighter has strong takedown defense, especially against the cage, but he struggled in this area during his last fight against Belal Muhammad, which could give Brady an opportunity to exploit weaknesses.
