The legendary Badr Hari lost to the Estonian Uku Jurjendal in the main event of Glory 89 organized in Bulgaria.
Badr Hari was making his return to the ring since his trilogy loss to Alistair Overeem in October 2022.
Expected by the fans, the Moroccan was opposed to the Estonian Uku Jurjendal. But quickly, Hari showed signs of weakness and was trapped by his opponent.
In the first round, the two athletes throw powerful blows at each other, and it is Jurjendal who has the last word. Thanks to a huge hook at the very end of the round, he brought down Badr Hari.
In the second round, again. Hari gets hit heavily by the Estonian. Wounded in the leg, the Moroccan finally lost by TKO.
كان يجب أن يعتزل بعزة قبل يصبح ما هو عليه الحين ، هل هناك أذل ما نراه ؟ .. هو من جنى على نفسه ؟! https://t.co/QoccvYoysU

In the end, Badr Hari lost by TKO in the 2nd round against Uku Jurjendal.
Once again, the ‘Golden Boy’ records a defeat, having not won since 2016. The Moroccan legend seems somewhat out of breath…

While he was to fight in Paris for the Glory 88, the Golden Boy had chosen to withdraw. Indeed, touched by the events that hit his country, the Moroccan preferred not to fight James McSweeney. Back in the ring against Jurjendal, Badr Hari was eagerly awaited by the fans. Nevertheless, the Golden Boy did not return to his fight and lost by TKO in the second round.
