Sean O’Malley has given his favorite for the fight between Henry Cejudo and Marlon Vera which will take place at UFC 292.
Last week, we learned that a fight between Henry Cejudo and Marlon Vera was going to see the light of day at UFC 292. And on this same card will take place another fight in the bantamweight category, in this case the one between Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley.
And whoever wins between ‘Triple C’ and ‘Chito’ may well have a shot at the bantamweight title afterwards. This is a bit why Sean O’Malley wanted to give his prediction on this fight in his podcast. And he clearly has a winner in mind:
“If ‘Chito’ shows up and fights like he did against Cory – and is that a three round fight? ‘Chito’ is usually tougher in the later rounds. Henry did well against Aljo. He ran out of gas. And he won’t do the same against ‘Chito’. Frankie Edgar managed to put ‘Chito’ down and punched him, although he ended up losing at the end of the third round, obviously. But Edgar was able to put him on the ground, control his hips, and not let him do much from there. So if I had to give a prediction now, I think Henry will get the job done. »
Sean O’Malley therefore thinks that with Henry Cejudo’s performance against Aljamain Sterling and despite his defeat, ‘Triple C’ should emerge victorious from this confrontation…
