Former UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal has sent a scathing message to Conor McGregor after the latter punched the Miami Heat mascot.
A few days ago, Conor McGregor was present at the Kaseya Center for the game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets during the NBA Finals. At halftime, Conor McGregor took to the field to put on a show with Heat mascot Burnie. While the Irishman had to pretend to land blows on the mascot, everything did not go as planned. Indeed, the UFC fighter genuinely punched Burnie, who was taken to the hospital.
Many criticized the ‘Notorious’ for this action. Proud Miami native Jorge Masvidal came to the mascot’s defense after the incident, tweeting that McGregor was now “banned”.
