Iraqi Muay Thai fighter Ayad Albadr is set to face Japan’s Banna Hayashi in a strawweight Muay Thai contest at ONE Friday Fights 94 on Friday 17 January.
This is Albadr’s first fight at ONE Championship’s weekly fight series ONE Friday Fights since September 2023.
Albadr has struggled so far since making his debut in the ONE Championship series, recording two losses in his first two bouts.
The 23-year-old Iraqi fell to two unanimous decision losses, first to Elias Ghazali on his debut in January 2023 then to Teeyai PK Saenchai in September 2023.
On the other hand, 20-year-old Hayashi will be looking for his second win in two bouts after scoring a first-round knockout win against Saenchai Nayokwittungsong on his debut in August 2024.
ONE Friday Fights 94 kicks off at 3:30 PM Mecca on Friday 17 January and will be broadcast live via beIN SPORTS.
