This is a surprising revelation that Tyson Fury has just made. Indeed, he thinks that Francis Ngannou is more dangerous than Oleksandr Usyk.
Tyson Fury will face Francis Ngannou this weekend in what will be the former UFC heavyweight champion’s first professional boxing fight (card, times and how to watch by clicking here).
If of course Fury is the favorite, some, like Mike Tyson who trains Ngannou, firmly believe that the ‘Predator’ can create a surprise. Furthermore, Tyson Fury has already agreed to a fight against Oleksandr Usyk within two months, which was taken by many, like Daniel Cormier, as provocation.
However, Fury said on ESPN that Francis Ngannou will be more dangerous than Usyk, and here’s why:
“A lot of people are talking about this undisputed fight [against Usyk], as a fantastic fight. But I have a much more dangerous person to face next Saturday. Because Francis is a bigger, stronger, more powerful man and has knockout abilities. As we saw with Oleksandr Usyk, he doesn’t really do any damage to the people he hits. So you could probably let Usyk hit you in the head and he’ll give you a black eye. If you let Ngannou hit you in the head, he’ll probably shake your brain!«
It’s a fact, Tyson Fury is wary of Francis Ngannou’s power and he’s probably right. Even if he lacks experience, the ‘Predator’ is no less dangerous in the ring. So can Ngannou really beat Fury?
