Henry Cejudo’s three-year retirement from MMA came at the height of his fighting career.
Cejudo walked away from the game fresh off his first defense of the UFC bantamweight title, when he stopped Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 in May 2020. It was an impressive finish that capped a six-fight winning streak that had him crown himself a two-division UFC champion.
You can watch Cejudo’s impressive win before taking a break from MMA in the video above.
Cejudo (16-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) returns to the cage against Merab Dvalishvili (16-4 MMA, 9-2 UFC) on the pay-per-view main card of UFC 298. The event takes place on Feb. 17 at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
