Paez and Ghazali faced each other in a flyweight Muay Thai battle where the two fighters exchanged strikes at a furious pace.
Despite Ghazali applying his usual forward pressure and heavy combinations, Paez countered his Malaysian-American star’s attacks with intelligent movements, creative counter-striking, and a dynamic, unpredictable style, landing cleaner shots than his younger rival.
With this split decision win, the 31-year-old raised his overall professional record to 8-3, while Ghazali’s overall professional record dropped to 25-9.
