Viral footage of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg participating in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament has led some to believe that the billionaire tech entrepreneur is becoming an alpha, right-wing, bro.
Fans are excited about seeing a potential showdown between Mark Zuckerberg and Tom Hardy.
META CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently made headlines by competing in his first-ever BJJ Competition.
Zuckerberg won two medals as well in the competition and earned the respect of a long list of MMA fighters. Names like Conor McGregor, Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski among others were seen congratulating Zuckerberg on Instagram.
ONE Championship’s Chatri Sityodtong also showed support for the Facebook founder. Former UFC champion and current Bellator Champion Cris Cyborg also showed her support for Zuckerberg in the comment section.
And now, fans are looking forward to seeing Zuckerberg back on the mat and this time around, they want him to fight Tom Hardy.
Tom Hardy, interestingly, made headlines for competing in BJJ and winning medals himself. Hardy, who featured in blockbuster films like Venom, Dark Knight Rises, Inception, Mad Max Fury Road The Revenant, and Dunkirk among others, is already a fan favourite among the grappling community.
A 2022 Brazilian jiu-jitsu open championship hosted by Ultimate Martial Arts Championships at Oakgrove School in Milton Keynes had a surprise appearance by Hardy. Under Mark Zuckerberg’s post about his win, a user tank.Sinatra commented about the possible showdown between Zuckerberg and Hardy.
