Guram Kutateladze, back in the octagon for only his third fight in four years with the UFC, accepts a last minute fight opportunity against Elves Brener.
In the preliminary card, Elves Brener made an impressive comeback and knocked out Guram Kutateladze in the third round in his spectacular debut at UFC Vegas 76, which took place at the Apex in Las Vegas. For his part, the Georgian suffered his second defeat in the organization.
After an exchange between the two fighters, Brener pushed his opponent against the cage and managed to put him on the ground. After a few moments on the ground, the Georgian got up, leaning on the cage. Once separated, they returned to the ground. At the end of the round, Kutateladze elbowed the Brazilian in the face, followed by several blows that almost knocked him out, but he survived.
In the second round, the Georgian landed a takedown and grounded the Brazilian, causing a cut on his forehead. Despite his bloodied face, Brener continued the fight and again survived.
In the third round, Elves Brener came out with determination and started to tag the Georgian who looked tired. Eventually, Brener hurt Kutateladze with a punch and punched him until the referee stopped the fight.
