Elmehdi El Jamari Suffers Decision Loss Against Aliff at ONE Fight Night 32
Elmehdi El Jamari endured a disappointing decision defeat against Aliff Sor Dechapan at ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 32.
Aliff used his height advantage, movement, and accurate striking to edge out El Jamari in the strawweight Muay Thai contest and earn a pivotal unanimous decision victory.
The 21-year-old Thai-Malaysian used sharp low kicks throughout the fight that bruised the left side of El Jamari’s midsection.
El Jamari responded with forward pressure, using body kicks and tight boxing combinations to slow Aliff’s rhythm. Despite the Moroccan landing several heavy punches, Aliff’s composure and slick movements allowed him to manage distance and avoid sustained damage.
With the victory, Aliff improved his ONE record to 7-2 and overall professional record to 61-9, and will now challenge two-sport champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai for the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai world title.
Meanwhile, El Jamari saw his overall professional record drop to 27-2.
