MMA – The choice of the Predator is not to everyone’s taste. Francis Ngannou is now at the PFL and Dana is very critical.
After the official announcement of Francis Ngannou at the PFL, the reactions multiplied. On the one hand, there are those who totally validate the choice of the former UFC champion, like Cédric Doumbé. On the other, there are those who believe that the Cameroonian is making a real mistake like Conor McGregor or Sean O’Malley. But many were waiting for the reaction of the UFC boss himself. Precisely, while Francis Ngannou is now at the PFL, Dana is very critical.
The easy choice?
In a press conference after UFC Vegas 73, Dana White had the opportunity to answer questions from journalists. The latter did not fail to question the UFC boss about Francis’ choice to go to the PFL. The least we can say is that Dana did not go easy on it.
“It makes no sense to me. You are going to pay a guy not to fight for a year (…) Francis does not want to take any risks. He obviously didn’t want to take a chance on Jon Jones and after what happened with Ciryl Gane, I don’t hold it against him. (…) The PFL is going to pay this guy to train for a boxing fight that might not even happen and that they might not even be involved in. How can that make sense? »
In short, Dana White is clearly not a fan of the Francis Ngannou x PFL deal.
