UFC President Dana White has admitted he was completely wrong in his assessment of Alex Pereira.
At UFC 303, Alex Pereira increased his legend. Just a few months after his decisive knockout victory at UFC 300, “Poatan” toppled Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303. By doing so, he retained his UFC light heavyweight title for the second time. Since that head kick, the fans have continued to praise the Brazilian, and rightly so.
Dana White is one of them. He has witnessed Pereira’s development over the past three years, and like many of us, he is utterly amazed by what he has seen. At the post-UFC 303 press conference, White was asked if he had any expectations for Alex when he first signed him.

I didn't expect Alex Pereira to succeed in the UFC,"said Dana White. "I thought they would take him down, submit him, and finish him. I was wrong

No one could have imagined that Alex Pereira would accomplish what he has so far. But the most frightening part is that he still has many years of activity ahead of him.
