Conor McGregor supports Israel Adesanya and gives him advice

The world of UFC is currently as volatile as it could possibly be. With multiple disasters and last-minute card changes, a lot of things have happened. However, we can cover a number of updates from the last 24 hours in one fell swoop. Multiple stars and their teams gave major reactions and updates in the past day.

Former two-time UFC champion Conor McGregor was keen to support Israel Adesanya after the latter announced he was taking a break.

During his last fight, Israel Adesanya was dethroned at middleweight. For 5 rounds, the Nigerian was dominated head and shoulders by Sean Strickland. The American therefore logically won by unanimous decision. Recently, Israel Adesanya revealed that he planned to take a long break, being one of the most active fighters, and champions, in the organization.

Jon Jones was keen to support ‘The Last Stylebender’. Now, it’s Conor McGregor’s turn to send a message to Izzy.

McGregor supports Adesanya

“Sparring rounds of boxing with big gloves in a closed ring and you beat Sean Strickland with one hand behind the back, boy. Rest. And then come back and get that belt. And Alex Volkanovski couldn’t hold my spit bucket,” McGregor wrote on X.

Despite supporting Adesanya, McGregor tackled featherweight champion Volkanovski. This is not the first time that the Irishman has attacked the Australian. Saturday evening, the latter will be in the main event of UFC 294 to face lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
