Conor McGregor is accused of sexually assaulting a woman during Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Miami.
UFC superstar Conor McGregor hasn’t entered the octagon since July 2021. At UFC 264, the Irishman faced Dustin Poirier in a trilogy. However, he fractured his tibia in the first round.
After a long recovery, ‘The Notorious’ participated in the filming of the 31st season of “The Ultimate Fighter”. On the show, McGregor takes on the role of coach in opposition to the No. 5 lightweight, Michael Chandler. The two men could face each other at the last pay-per-view of the year.
Several things could disturb this return. First of all, Conor McGregor must integrate the test group of USADA (American anti-doping agency) as soon as possible. Additionally, the Irishman was recently charged with sexual assault.
Conor McGregor charged with sexual assault
The incident reportedly took place during Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Miami. Conor McGregor was present at the event, and has already been embroiled in controversy after punching and sending a mascot to the hospital.
According to a report by TMZ Sports, the former UFC champion is accused of sexually assaulting a woman during the event. The incident is said to have taken place in the toilets after the end of the match. Irishman security and Miami Heat security allegedly prevented the woman from leaving the room. After nudging Conor McGregor several times, she reportedly managed to escape.
Previous assault charges
Conor McGregor, the mixed martial arts champion, was interrogated in France in 2020 on suspicion of obscene nudity and attempted sexual assault.
Magregor is considered one of the most famous names in combat sports, and he knew many controversial events inside and outside the mixed martial arts arena, the most famous of which was the fight that brought him together with the veteran American boxer Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas in August 2017, which ended in favor of the latter in the tenth round.
