The UFC, through its President Dana White, has confirmed that the Charles Oliveira vs Islam Makhachev 2 fight is in the company’s plans.

talks to Trocação Franca about facing Islam Makhachev again, campaigns to bring the fight to São Paulo, celebrates more UFC record breaking, fame around the world, and much more.
At the end of this fight, the reigning lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, reacted and gently provoked Oliveira (find his message here), and the president of the UFC, Dana White, also reacted, specifying that he wanted to see a rematch between the two men (via MMAMania.com):
“He looked like a world champion tonight, and I can’t wait for him and Islam to fight again. It’s the most logical thing. I will tell you on Tuesday. But yeah, I mean let’s not play games, this fight makes sense. This is the fight that should take place. And I can’t wait to see him again.”
“There are a lot of things that come into play for the next title fight. I’m sitting here talking to you about Charles, and I don’t even know how he’s doing. He is at the doctor. I don’t know where he is and what he has planned for the summer. The list goes on of all the factors that affect how fights are organized. But I tell you right here and now, Makhachev vs. Oliveira is a fight I would love to see again. »
Indeed, many factors go into setting up a title fight, but even so, the UFC, and the MMA world in general, would really like to see this rematch between Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira.
