Brendan Allen submits submission king Paul Craig after demonstration

With six UFC wins by submission each, both Brendan Allen and Paul Craig have proven that they are two of the most dangerous middleweights when the fight hits the canvas.

In the main event of UFC Vegas 82, Brendan Allen and Paul Craig faced each other in a fight between ground specialists. The American won by submission in the 3rd round.

Round 1: Brendan Allen completes a nice takedown then takes an extremely favorable position on Paul Craig. The American accelerates with a ground & pound composed of elbow strikes. In the process, Allen attempts the submission but Craig counters with an attempted heel lock. On the ground, the two athletes offer a magnificent grappling sequence. Brendan Allen finishes the round strong.

Round 2: Another takedown from Allen on the Scotsman. On his back, Paul Craig is under opposing pressure. ‘All In’ takes the mounted position and applies the harsh law of ground & pound on Craig. The latter bleeds seriously at the level of the arcade, and cannot reverse the trend.

Round 3: Allen attempts a guillotine entry, and brings Paul Craig to the ground once again. Still putting pressure, the American manages to grab the back of ‘Bearjew’, then validates the rear choke. What a demonstration!

In the end, Brendan Allen won by submission in the 3rd round against the king of submission, Paul Craig.

The American, ranked 10th in middleweight, can now aim higher. With this sixth consecutive victory, he will perhaps have the arguments to face a top 5 in this category dominated by Sean Strickland.
