At UFC 300, Justin Gaethje attempted to defend his BMF lightweight title against Max Holloway. The Hawaiian shocked the planet!
Round 1: Justin Gaethje takes the center of the octagon and tries to put pressure on ‘Blessed’. In boxing, Max Holloway sends some nice combinations including an uppercut which hits the BMF champion well. Holloway sets up his game in volume while Gaethje seems to be looking for the hard blow. At the very end of the restart, ‘Blessed’ places a superb flipped kick which hits ‘The Highlight’.
Round 2: The champion begins to be marked in the face. He is also the victim of an eye poke during an exchange with his opponent, but the fight restarts. Always in volume, Holloway continues to distribute blows by varying his strikes. At the end of the round, the two fighters start a fight.
Round 3: The Hawaiian shakes the champion with his boxing! Touched, Gaethje does not give in and remains standing as best he can. ‘The Highlight’ tries to hurt with kicks, but Holloway manages his lead well.

Round 4: Justin Gaethje hits ‘Blessed’ with some nice combinations. The Hawaiian responds with his ultra-precise boxing. On the other hand, Max Holloway finds success thanks to his speed in particular… But the champion does not give up. Gaethje inflicts a knockdown on the challenger thanks to a blow from elsewhere. Round 5: Max Holloway finds success with his striking. On a big combination, he brutally shakes the champion with shots to the head and body. In the tough, Gaethje does not give up but shows big signs of fatigue. The two men end in a big war. At the last second, Holloway slams the KO! Amazing !!!
