Anissa Meksen Faces Japanese Star in Atomweight Kickboxing Clash at ONE Friday Fights 92
Algerian Kickboxing legend Anissa Meksen is set to face Japanese star Kana Morimoto in a highly anticipated contest.
Meksen and Kana will lock horns in an Atomweight Kickboxing bout at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Friday, December 20.
Meksen, who faces Jackie Buntan for strawweight gold in the morning hours of Saturday, November 9, will drop to atomweight to face the accomplished promotional newcomer.
The 36-year-old veteran, whose overall record stands at 103-6, boasts an impressive resume during a glittering career, having captured titles in reputable fight organizations such as ISKA and Glory.
Meanwhile, 32-year-old Kana, who last competed in December 2023, has defended the K-1 Women’s Flyweight Tournament Championship three times since winning the belt in 2019 off ONE athlete Cristina Morales.
Nicknamed KANA, the world-class athlete, who owns a 22-4 record, had voiced her desire to face Meksen ahead of joining ONE Championship.
ONE Friday Fights 92 kicks off at 3:30 PM Mecca on Friday, December 20 inside Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium and will be broadcast live via beIN SPORTS.
