Aliff Expects a “Fierce Fight” Against Elmehdi El Jamari at ONE Fight Night 32

Aliff Sor Dechapan is expecting a difficult test and a “fierce fight” in his pivotal upcoming bout at ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 32.

Aliff will face Morocco’s Elmehdi El Jamari in a strawweight Muay Thai contest that could decide the next challenger for the world title inside Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium in the morning hours of Saturday, June 7.

Ahead of the fight, Aliff outlined speed, punching power, and the ability to throw striking combinations as three of El Jamari’s biggest strengths, and therefore expects a difficult fight against the Moroccan.

“I’m ready to test his power in this fight. I expect a fierce fight,” Aliff said.

The bout represents a massive opportunity for both men to move closer to challenging two-sport champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai for the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai world title.

The 21-year-old, who is currently riding an impressive three-fight winning streak, is confident that he can stop the Moroccan who will enter the bout following a big knockout victory over Thailand’s Thongpoon.

“For this fight, I’m 100 percent ready, and I’ve been fully committed to my training. It’s been a tough camp. But I know I can win this fight, and I have full confidence in my ability to do so,” Aliff said.

“I’m very confident that if I win this fight, I will get the chance to fight Prajanchai for his belt,” he added.

ONE Fight Night 32 kicks off at 4:00 AM Mecca on Saturday, June 7, and will be broadcast live via beIN SPORTS.
